Originally Umbrella, NTB Potentially Raining For The Next 3 Days

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) stated that the weather in the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) is predicted to be sunny to light rain for the next three days in the 2023 dry season.

"The weather in the NTB area is forecast for light rain from 19-21 September 2023," said BMKG forecaster Zaenudin Abdul Majid Lombok Station, Desi Megawati in a written statement in Mataram, NTB, Tuesday, September 19, which was confiscated by Antara.

The potential for light rain in the NTB area has the potential to occur in parts of North Lombok, East Lombok, West Sumbawa Bima, and Dompu regencies.

"The potential for light rain is predicted to occur during the day and night in parts of NTB," he said.

In addition to urging the public to be aware of the potential for light rain, he continued, residents are also expected to be aware of the increase in wind speed in the NTB area.

"Residents are also advised to be alert to high waves that reach more than 2 meters in the waters of NTB," he said.

Previously, the BMKG issued warnings of widespread meteorological drought in several areas of NTB towards the peak period of the August 2023 dry season.
