Police Chase With Honda Brio Driver In Pekalongan, Police Almost Hit

PEKALONGAN was chased by members of the Traffic Unit of the Pekalongan Police, the perpetrator of the hit-and-run in Pekalongan was arrested, on Friday, September 15. From the results of the inspection, the driver's actions were influenced by drugs. The police also found 3 pills of hexymer type drugs.

The perpetrator is known to have the initials K (48), a resident of Menawan Village, Gebok District, Kudus Regency, and his female friend AXV (23), a resident of Kwigaran Village, Pekalongan Regency. Both are in a white Honda Brio car.

Head of Traffic Unit AKP Fitriyanto said the Turjagli Ops Zebra Candi 2023 Task Force, which was carrying out patrols, received information from the public about the hit-and-run incident around Bojong, leading to Sragi.

"After checking by officers, it was discovered that the characteristics of the vehicle were a white Honda Brio Nopol K 8630 RK," he said.

Chronology began with reports from residents regarding the hit-and-run incident. With a quick response, Satlantas officers at the Pait Post immediately carried out a partition by installing barricades. However, the perpetrator was determined to break through and almost hit the officer and then drove west to Pemalang. Until the border with Pemalang, the perpetrator turned towards Wiradesa and continued to pursue.

Arriving in front of Rasika FM around Wiradesa, finally the escape of the perpetrator was stopped and then the officers secured the perpetrator from the residents' tantrums and conducted an examination of the perpetrator. From the inspection, it was found that a driver and a passenger were found.

"In addition, we also found several pills that were suspected of being psychotropic in the Hexymer type. We then handed over the perpetrator to the drug unit for further investigation," said AKP Fitriyanto.
