JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that there is a flow of corruption money in the procurement of the Indonesian labor protection system (TKI) at the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker). Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said this information was examined by two witnesses, namely Muhammad Saefulloh who is a private employee and employee of Bank Mandiri, Ventho Daniel Batuan Siahaan. They were questioned at the KPK's Red and White House, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta. "“It is also confirmed that the flow of money from the suspects to certain parties,” Ali told reporters, Thursday, September 14. In addition, these two witnesses were also questioned about the financial transactions of the parties named as suspects. Although Ali did not specify the amount, there are allegations that the number of money investigated by investigators reached billions of rupiah. As previously reported, the KPK said that there were three suspects named in the corruption case at the Ministry of Manpower. Although the KPK has not yet submitted it, the Secretary of the Planning and Development Agency of the Ministry of Manpower I Nyoman Darmanta is reportedly involved. The value of the information system procurement project that is suspected to be the result of the perpetrators reached around Rp. 20 billion. Deputy Chairman Alexander Marwata said that this system was allegedly corrupted until it could not be used to monitor migrant workers.
