PKS Sings Yalal Wathan Welcomes PKB, Promises To Discuss Cak Imin's Name At The Syuro Council

JAKARTA - The candidate for the presidential and vice presidential candidate for the Change Coalition for Unity, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin visited the PKS DPP Office on Jalan Simatupang, South Jakarta, Tuesday, September 12. PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu admitted that he was happy that his party was visited by PKB and the candidate for Cak Imin. "From the start, I was very happy with the joining of PKB to the Coalition for Change for Unity," said Syaikhu in his speech. "This is what led us to optimism in achieving victory. Hopefully this coalition really brings hope, victory and goodness to the people, nation and state," he continued. In welcoming Cak Imin, PKS also sang the national anthem Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), Yalal Wathan. Where the song is often echoed at every PKB event. "If in the last press conference I said ahlan wa suhoolan to PKB, then as part of a sense more closely today it was welcomed by singing the song Yalal wathan," said Syaikhu.

Syaikhu also confirmed that he would immediately bring the name Cak Imin to be discussed and supported as Anies' vice presidential candidate at the shuro assembly meeting. "On behalf of the PKS president, I will bring the results of a warm and positive meeting this afternoon at the shuro meeting forum which will discuss the name of Mr. Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar as a candidate for vice president who will accompany Mr. Anies Rasyid Baswedan," concluded Syaikhu.
