Anies Pede Wins The Presidential Election Even Though Survey Is Always Number 3, Uploads The Results Of The DKI Regional Head Election

JAKARTA - The candidate for the presidential candidate (candidate) of the Change Coalition for Unity, Anies Baswedan is optimistic and confident that he can win the 2024 presidential election contestation. Even though his electability in all surveys has always been at number three. According to Anies, the survey results are always changing so that he doesn't really mind his electability being under Ganjar Pranowo and Prabowo Subianto. "Regarding the survey, I have conveyed it many times. We are very experienced in number three right, and indeed better," said Anies at the PKB DPP office, Cikini, Central Jakarta, Monday, September 11. Anies then brought up his success in winning the DKI Jakarta regional head elections (Pilkada) in 2017. At that time, the survey always put him in third position but then he was able to excel in the DKI gubernatorial election. "In Jakarta, we are not yet in our survey number one or number one, but when the results of the Pilkada come out, we already know what the results are like," said Anies. Therefore, Anies believes that the survey results will change ahead of the final round of the presidential election. "God willing, we will see its development in the weeks and months ahead," said Anies. Anies also admitted that he is ready if the registration schedule for the presidential and vice presidential candidates in 2024 is also accelerated. "We are ready if we want to do it early, God willing, we are ready. So hopefully, we can convey when we have to do it, we are ready to do it," he concluded. It is known, Anies Baswedan's electability in various survey institutions has always been in third place if against PDIP Ganjar Pranowo's reading and the presidential reading of the Indonesian Coalition. On the other hand, the KPU also plans to accelerate the registration of presidential and vice presidential candidates for the 2024 presidential election as stated in the latest PKPU draft.

The schedule for the registration of presidential and vice-presidential candidates will be on October 7 to October 9, 2023. Meanwhile, the registration period is planned to be accelerated from October 10 to 16, 2023. Previously, the nomination registration period began from October 19 to November 25, 2023. The schedule is based on PKPU 3/2022 regarding the schedule and stages of the 2024 General Election.
