JATENG - Former Governor of Central Java (Central Java) Ganjar Pranowo was awarded a painting of a technology QR Art by Kawoong Innovation.

The painting was handed over directly by the CEO of Kawoong Innovation Hadi Wardoyo on the sidelines of Ganjar's "Farewell Meet Up" with businessmen, in Semarang, Thursday, September 7 night.

"This is part of our appreciation to the leaders in Indonesia, as well as the introduction of the work of the nation's children," Hadi said in a statement, Friday, September 8, which was confiscated by Antara.

The painting depicts Ganjar's face decorated with a QR Code which, if scanned using a gadget, will go straight to a hyperlink to private social media and can see his digital track record.

The painting QR Art is a collaboration between works of art, culture, science and technology, discovered by Doddy Hernanto (Mr D), an artist from Surabaya, and has received a copyright patent from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

According to him, the awarding of appreciation is part of the journey of innovative works of art as a reference for the country itself and other countries to the world.

"Digital era makes it easier for everyone, including in terms of work," he said.

He explained that the gift of the QR Art painting was part of an effort to introduce the work of the nation's children and motivate other young people to be creative in the digital direction.

Previously, digital paintings were also given to a number of other figures in Indonesia such as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD, Governor of Lemhanas Andi Widjajanto, Chancellor of Airlangga University Prof M Nasih, and Chancellor of Padang State University (UNP) Prof. Ganefri.

Hadi admitted that the administration of the QR Art technology was part of efforts to get the attention of leaders and officials.

"The work of art and technology knowledge created by Indonesian innovators deserves the appreciation and legal protection from the government," he said.

Kawoong Innovation is an institution that cares and accommodates creators and innovators of the nation's children in the development, utilization, protection of copyright law and patents for the work of innovation, technology, and cultural arts.

Kawoong Innovation was initiated by Hadi Wardoyo, digital innovator and artist Doddy Hernanto (creator and owner of the official patent of digital art work QR Art), as well as media practitioner Naning Yusuf.

Meanwhile, Ganjar Pranowo was surprised to see the painting and was enthusiastic to see the work of QR Art technology as outlined in the painting.

"QR Art can be cloned on clothes, it's interesting, it can be scanned too. There are already examples in front," he said while holding the painting.
