A Junior High School Boy Who Was Raped By His Stepfather For 3 Years A Hafidz Al-Quran, Traumatized And A Little Different

JAKARTA - After 3 years of being a victim of sexual abuse allegedly committed by his stepfather, B (15) is still experiencing prolonged trauma. Because, at the age of young and just sitting in 6th grade elementary school, he had been forced by his stepfather to vent his lust, until the 3rd grade of junior high school.

"(The victim's condition) is clearly traumatized. (the trauma victim) does not want to meet (the perpetrator)," said the victim's attorney, Muhammad Ari Pratomo, to reporters at the East Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday, September 7.

The prolonged trauma is still attached to the victim's mind. How not, since childhood, the victim has lived with her stepfather and biological mother in the Pulomas area, East Jakarta.

"The biological father entrusted his mother, to his stepfather, to be treated. Instead, he was wronged," he said.

Even what angered Ari continued, the perpetrator had the heart to molest the victim who was Hafidz Al-Quran.

"That's why we are very angry. Currently the victim is still (psychological support), until he is mentally completely recovered," he said.

Due to the incident that happened to the victim, he still looks gloomy.

"What is clear now seems to be still gloomy, silent. To meet friends, playing like normal children is a bit different. Maybe still traumatized," he said.

After the incident, the victim still wanted to go to school. The victim is also still diligent in reading the Koran. However, he continued, this bitter event could interfere with his memory.

"We hope that (the perpetrator) will be detained soon so that the victim will forget immediately. If he has been detained, tried, the victim forgets what happened and continues his career until he can grow up and become a good next generation of the nation," he hoped.
