Ganjar Pranowo: Hanura Support Becomes Additional Energy In The 2024 Presidential Election

JAKARTA - Presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo said Hanura's support for him could be additional energy in the 2024 presidential election.

This was conveyed by Ganjar after participating in the meeting of the General Chairperson of the PDIP DPP Megawati Soekarnoputri with the General Chairperson of the Hanura Party DPP Oesman Sapta Odang (Oso) at the PDIP DPP office, Jakarta, Monday, August 28.

"Of course this is energy, because during this month, we consolidated all air, land power, including from parties that, God willing, we will consolidate soon," said Ganjar as quoted by ANTARA.

He revealed that Hanura was the first political party to express support for him after being announced as a presidential candidate on April 21, 2023.

For that, he continued, Hanura's support today is only an extension of the previous one.

"Actually Hanura was the first party after I was announced by Mrs. Mega on the morning 21, in the afternoon of Hanura. Only he wanted to work first, wanted to consolidate his party first, and finally met today," he explained.

According to Ganjar, during August his party focused on consolidating. This is important considering that he no longer serves as Governor of Central Java on September 5.

"Later, after September 5th, I will tour all over Indonesia and several places outside," concluded Ganjar.
