Jambi Police have named three suspects for online fraud by sending evidence of fake transfers to victims.

Head of Sub-Directorate V Cyber Ditreskrimsus Jambi Police AKBP Andi Purwanto said the perpetrators had been arrested by the police on Saturday (26/8) in the early hours of the morning at two locations in Jambi City.

"We arrested eight people in the operation and named three suspects," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, August 28.

Article 51 paragraph 1 of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning amendments to Law Number 1 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions and Article 378 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code paragraph 1 KHUPidanajo Article 56 Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
