Support The Constitutional Court's Decision On Campaign Places, Reward The Best Idea Test On Campus

JAKARTA - Ganjar Pranowo's presidential candidate supports the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) which allows the 2024 election campaign in educational or campus institutions.

"I am one of the people who have always agreed with the decision, namely the campus as a place for educational ideas," said Ganjar at a press conference after speaking at the Campus Life Introduction event for New Students (PKKMB) Pancasila University (UP), Jakarta, Monday, August 28.

Ganjar assessed that the best test ideas or thoughts were on campus. So, if there is a tradition, then the scientific tradition is used, not emotional or not just one party, but both parties, then this is certainly interesting.

The presidential candidate from the PDI-P (PDIP) assesses that the Constitutional Court's decision is good and precise. "This is interesting and I think it will be realized," he said.

However, Ganjar disagreed with the existence of parties who suggested that only public campuses or universities (PTN) could be a place of debate between pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates because it was feared that there would be a conflict of interest for the foundation in private universities (PTS).

"State and state universities are the same. Everyone has the same interests. Who says those in the private sector and the state have no interest," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Education Foundation and Trustees of Pancasila University, Siswono Yudo Husodo, explained Ganjar Pranowo's presence at the PKKMB event, to provide an overview of the nation's future conditions.
