JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is questioning former Secretary of the National SAR Agency (Basarnas) Max Rudand Boseke in the corruption case of truck procurement. He was questioned on Thursday, August 24 yesterday as a witness.

"The witness was present and his knowledge was explored, among others, related to the auction process which started from proposing the budget to the alleged arrangement," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Friday, August 25.

Ali said this arrangement was allegedly to win a certain company. Similar information was also examined from two other witnesses, namely the Middle Expert Policy Analyst who is also a commitment-making official (PPK) Suhardi and the Public Relations Coordinator of the SAR Agency as former PPK Anjar Sulistyono.

Previously reported, the KPK investigated allegations of corruption in Basarnas related to the procurement of goods. This case is said to have cost the state tens of billions of rupiah.

Currently, the anti-corruption commission has not announced the suspects in this case because the search for evidence is still ongoing. However, they have prevented three people from leaving the country.

The three people who were prevented were former Sestama Basarnas Max Rudand Boseke; PPK Basarnas Anjar Sulistiyono; and Director of CV Delima Mandiri, William Widarta. This prevention was carried out by the Directorate General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights until December 2023 and could be extended for six months according to the needs of investigators.
