Friday Afternoon, Anies Meets SBY And AHY At Cikeas To Discuss Victory Tactical Strategy

JAKARTA - The presidential candidate (readpres) for the Change Coalition Anies Baswedan will meet with the Chairman of the Upper House of the Democratic Party Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) together with the General Chairperson of the Democrats Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) in Cikeas, Bogor, Friday, August 25 afternoon discussed the tactical strategy of victory in the 2024 presidential election.

"Tomorrow (Friday) afternoon plans to arrange the time to meet with the Chairman of the High Council of the Democratic Party, Pak SBY, and of course the General Chairperson of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY)," said Secretary General of the DPP Democratic Party Teuku Riefky Harsya after the meeting of the Change Coalition in Jakarta, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday (24/8/2023) night.

According to him, Anies will also meet with the PKS leadership. However, the timing of the implementation has not been confirmed.

Riefky explained that Anies' meeting with the leadership of the political party of the Change Coalition aims to further facilitate communication so that all parties get complete information.

"It is hoped that these various meetings can get suggestions from senior parties, especially related to Mas Anies' tactical strategy," he said.

Previously, Anies Baswedan met with the General Chair of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, and the leadership of the Coalition for Amendments to discuss the latest political developments, in Jakarta, Thursday night.

"So we hold routine meetings that we usually do, update, each share developments in their respective areas, both NasDem, Democrats, PKS, and progress are very encouraging. We are grateful for the achievements of the coalition," said Anies after the meeting at the HI Roundabout, Central Jakarta, Thursday night.

Anies said one of the discussion points at the meeting was to bring the movement of change to be more accepted by the public, exchange of information, and analysis.

Anies added that the meeting was held in an intimate and optimistic atmosphere. "The atmosphere is friendly, familiar, and full of an atmosphere of optimism," he said.

On the same occasion, Surya Paloh said the optimism of the party that supported Anies Baswedan was still quite high and the Coalition for Change remained solid.

Registration for presidential and vice presidential candidates is scheduled for October 19, 2023 to November 25, 2023.
