Vanny explained that the two suspects had the initials M as the President Director of PTBAperiode 2011 to April 2016 and NT as the Intermediate Business Analysis of PTBA who is also the Deputy Chair of the Acquisition Team for Mining Services for the 2012-2016 period.
Previously, the suspects had been examined as witnesses. Based on the results of the examination, there is sufficient evidence that they were involved in the case.
"So that the investigative team upgraded the status of witnesses to become suspects against them and carried out detention measures for 20 days starting from August 23 to September 11, 2023. For suspect M he was detained at the Class 1 Pakjo detention center in Palembang, while NT was detained at the Merdeka Women's Prison in Palembang," he explained.
