KPK Reveals Allegations Of Corruption At The Ministry Of Manpower Regarding The TKI Supervision System

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has uncovered allegations of corruption at the Ministry of Manpower (Kemenaker) related to the Indonesian labor protection system (TKI) abroad. This program is called to carry out supervision.

"Yes (some software, ed) to control, earlier, supervision of migrant workers. Of course, migrant workers are not domestically, they are abroad," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Tuesday, August 22.

Ali has not detailed about the system and the impact of the actions of the suspects. However, what is certain is that there has been a loss to the state.

"We will definitely publish state financial losses later," he said.

Previously reported, there were three suspects named in the alleged corruption case at the Ministry of Manpower. Although the anti-corruption commission has not yet submitted it, the Secretary of the Planning and Development Agency of the Ministry of Manpower I Nyoman Darmanta is suspected of being involved.

The KPK is still looking for evidence to prove the actions of the three suspects. In this way, investigators visited a number of places including the Ministry of Manpower Office to carry out forced searches.
