TKP Process At F2 Melawai Hotel Completed, Puslabfor Polri Find Evidence To Be Examined In Lab

The National Police Laboratory Center has finished processing the crime scene (TKP) at the F2 Hotel, Melawai, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta which caught fire, and killed 3 guests.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Polres Metro Jakarta Selitan, AKBP Irwandhy Idrus said Puslabfor had taken several samples that were put into brown bags from the hotel.

"We carried out the crime scene with the Forensic Laboratory for approximately two hours, almost three hours. The Forensic Laboratory has taken samples from the crime scene, we will conduct an analysis at the forensic laboratory of the National Police Headquarters," said Irwandhy to reporters at the location, Friday, August 18.

Irwandhy admitted that he could not speak much about the fire case because he was still waiting for the results of the Labfor analysis.

"So far it is still under investigation. We are still investigating the fire at the F2 Hotel," he said.

On the other hand, regarding the fire victims at the Melawai F2 Hotel, there are still 2 people undergoing medical treatment. However, he admitted that he did not know further about the victims who were being treated.

"So far, there are still two victims being treated at the RSPP and Fatmawati Hospital, while the dead victims are still coordinating with Fatmawati Hospital. We will update the progress later," he concluded.
