Bareskrim Polri Investigate Allegations Of Crime Behind Sunah Nabi's YouTube Account

The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police is investigating the alleged criminal act behind the emergence of the Sunnah Nabi YouTube account which discusses religious values. The Prophet's Sunnah account contains several videos discussing the Prophet Muhammad and also his activities. "It is in the process (of investigation)," said Director of Cyber Crime at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency Brigadier General Adi Vivid Agustiadi Bachtiar when confirmed, Friday, August 18. The YouTube account @sunnahnabi1 has 29 videos with 6,030 followers. The account was created since June 1, 2022. Then, in the description of the account, it was written that the animated video uploaded explained that the scholars did not convey the true teachings of Islam.

This “Channel specifically displays animated videos about the Prophet Muhammad and Islamic teachings that were not conveyed honestly by the ulama. They deliberately hide the actions, character, actions of the Prophet in order to continue to display Islam as a peaceful religion for all mankind,” write the account.
