SUKA MAKMUE - Investigators of the Women's and Children Protection Unit of the Nagan Raya Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Aceh, handed over a case of alleged criminal acts of polygamy to the local state prosecutor's office (kejari) after the investigation file of the case was completed in the police and immediately tried. "This submission includes a suspect with the initials KH, a resident of Kuala Tuha Village, Nagan Raya Regency," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Nagan Raya Police AKP Machfud in Suka Makmue, Monday, August 14. The file and the suspect was received by the public prosecutor (JPU) of the Nagan Raya Prosecutor's Office, Nilam Agustini Putri. In the submission, investigators also submitted evidence in the form of a photocopy of a marriage statement, 1 photocopy of a marriage book with the marriage certificate citation number 0014/014/1/2019. It was also stated by AKP Machfud that the suspect and the evidence was submitted to the prosecutor after the suspect did polygamy and neglect. This case was previously reported by the legal wife of the suspect KH because he did not accept the actions of the suspect who married without permission from his wife.

Although it has been submitted to the prosecutor's office, said AKP Machfud, the police have not detained the suspect KH during the investigation because the person concerned is very cooperative. "We have mediated and tried to restore justice in this case. However, there is no common ground so we have transferred this case to the prosecutor's office," said AKP Machfud.
