BEKASI - The Bekasi District Attorney's Office has raised the status of an alleged crime of gratification or bribery involving one of the leaders of the Bekasi Regency DPRD. "We have been exposed to the leadership of the West Java High Prosecutor's Office, all leaders are complete. The investigation period according to standard operating procedures will last for the next 30 days starting from the time the status is raised. However, it is possible to run faster considering that the handling of this case is different from ordinary cases. Ronald admitted that he had asked seven witnesses for information during the investigation period regarding the alleged corruption case. Currently, his party is completing the existing information, including evidence of the case. "We will also summon the reported party, it's just a matter of time. What is certain is that at least the two pieces of evidence already exist, but we still have to collect them as a whole. After it is felt that the statements of the witnesses are sufficient and the information on the evidence is sufficient and leads to allegations of corruption, we must determine the suspect," he said. Head of the Intelligence Section of the Bekasi District Attorney's Office, Rahmadhy Seno Lumakso, confirmed that the investigation into the alleged corruption case was purely an effort to enforce the law on the alleged act of gratification. "Yesterday, when we went there (TKP, there was a lot of evidence related to politicization. It should be noted that we did not have the slightest politicization or criminalization, this is purely our law enforcement on allegations of corruption and gratification," he said.
