4 Political Parties Support Prabowo, PPP: No Need To Be Haters Or Lovers Blindly

JAKARTA - PPP Deputy General Chair (Waketum) Arsul Sani spoke up regarding PAN and Golkar announcing their support for Gerindra Party Chair Prabowo Subianto as a presidential candidate (candidate) in the 2024 presidential election.

The declaration was also attended by PKB and Gerindra who first established themselves to carry Prabowo.

"Hopefully it will be a Sunday that will bless Indonesia," said Arsul on his Twitter account, @arsul_sani, Sunday, August 13.

Arsul assessed that whoever the presidential candidate who contested the persta democracy had a definite intention for the benefit of the nation and state. The difference is only that the presidential candidate sometimes has not locked the meeting of the hero's choice until the final minute of the presidential election.

"I believe Mr. @prabowo Mas @ganjarpranowo & Mas @aniesbaswedan has the same determination to realize our country's ideals. What is different at this time is only the supporting political parties. That could still be dynamic," he said.

Therefore, responding to the differences in the choice of support for the current presidential candidate, Arsul said there was no need to overreact. It's a good idea, he continued, just enjoy the active and growing conditions of the political map of the 2024 Presidential Election.

"There's no need to be a "haters", there's no need to be lovers blindly. Enjoy the rest of the weekend," said Arsul.

Golkar and PAN have officially declared their support for Prabowo Subianto as presidential candidates in the 2024 presidential election today, Sunday, August 13.

This was conveyed by Golkar Chairman Airlangga Hartarto and PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan in a declaration of support which was attended by Prabowo and PKB Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin.

"On this Sunday is a historic moment because the four parties will carry Mr. Prabowo Subianto as a presidential candidate in 2024-2029," said Airlangga at the Proclamation Script Formation Museum, Central Jakarta, Sunday, August 13.

Airlangga explained that the reason Golkar dropped its support was because Prabowo had been a Golkar cadre before Gerindra was founded.

"Why did the Golkar Party make the choice to Mr. Prabowo Subianto? None other than because Mr. Lieutenant General, Mr. Prabowo Subianto was born from the womb of the Golkar Party," said Airlangga.
