Allegations Of Lukas Enembe Judi Using The Regional Budget Will Be Investigated By The KPK

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed that it will investigate the money used by Lukas Enembe gambling.

Investigations are important to uncover allegations of corruption committed by the inactive Papuan Governor.

"Regarding gambling, whether using the APBD or not, we are investigating," said Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur to reporters, Saturday, August 12.

It is known that the trial of Lukas Enembe exposed gambling that he often did. This activity is suspected that the KPK is often carried out in Singapore and has been confirmed to a number of witnesses.

"I think the gambling has been confirmed by several parties that it really happened," said Asep.

"(Meanwhile, ed) regarding money and others we are investigating," he continued.

Previously, Lukas was charged with accepting bribes and gratuities totaling Rp46.8 billion. The act was against his obligations as a state administrator.

In detail, Rp10.4 billion came from the owners of PT Melonesia Mulia, Piton Enumbi and Rp35.4 billion received from the Director of PT Tabi Anugerah Pharmindo, Rijatono Lakka. The money was given so that Lukas won the two companies in the procurement project for goods and services within the Papua Provincial Government for the 2013-2022 Fiscal Year.

Lukas was charged with this act together with a number of parties. They are the Head of the Papua Province Public Housing Service (PU) for the 2013-2017 period Mikael Kambuaya and the Head of the Papua Province Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) for the 2018-2021 period.
