Buron KPK Kirana Kotama Turns Out To Be A Permanent Resident In Other Countries

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that one of the fugitives, Kirana Kotama is now a permanent resident in another country. They have pocketed this information.

"Based on the information we received (Kiana Kotama, ed) there is a country on another continent. He has what he calls permanent resident," Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur told reporters, Saturday, August 12.

Asep did not want to talk much about the country where Kirana Kotama lives. However, this condition makes it more difficult for the KPK to bring Kirana to Indonesia to account for her actions in court.

Because, he received protection from the country where he lived. In addition, there are jurisdictions that must be obeyed.

Kirana is a suspect in a bribery corruption case filing for a revision of the forest function in Riau in 2014. The search for her began after being on the run in 2017.

As a reminder, the KPK is also pursuing two other fugitives besides Kirana. First, former candidate Harun Masiku, who is a suspect in giving bribes to former General Elections Commission (KPU) Commissioner Wahyu Setiawan.

Then there is also Paulus Tannos who is a suspect in the corruption case in the procurement of an Electronic KTP or e-KTP. He was reported to have changed his identity so that he failed to be arrested even though he had been found.
