11 Witnesses Interrogated By The Corruption Eradication Commission Regarding Bribery That Entailed Cimahi Mayor, Ajay Muhammad

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to investigate the alleged bribery case for the construction permit of the Kasih Bunda General Hospital which ensnared the inactive Mayor of Cimahi, Ajay Muhammad Priatna (AJM).

Monday, February 1 today, the KPK summoned 11 witnesses to complete the Ajay case file.

Those who were summoned and will be examined as witnesses were the Acting Head of General Affairs and Protocol Cimahi City Government, Nining Ratnaningsih, PPK for the 2020 Karya Bakti Road Maintenance Rehabilitation Package, Wilman Sugiansyah, Leo from the private sector CV Nerra Ningsih and Nina Ratnaningsih from the private party CV Nerra Ningsih.

Furthermore, Sugito Rengga from the private sector CV YDP Usaha Perdana, Muhammad Ridwan from the private sector CV Indra Nugraha, Rudi Setiawan from the private sector CV Indra Nugraha, Itoh Suharto from the private sector, Zinohir Bagus from the private sector CV Viora Bagus Persada and Asal APT. MM private PT Kolosal Pratama.

Previously reported, the KPK arrested the mayor of Cimahi, Ajay Muhammad Priatna and the Commissioner of the Cimahi Bunda Kasih General Hospital, Hutama Yonathan.

The two of them were named suspects in the alleged bribery case related to the construction permit of the Kasih Bunda Hospital for the 2018-2020 fiscal year.

Ajay Priatna is alleged to have received bribes amounting to IDR1.661 billion in five stages out of a total agreement of IDR3.2 billion. The money is suspected to be related to the permit process for the addition of the Kasih Bunda Hospital building.

To investigate this case, the KPK investigating team has searched 4 locations, namely the Office and Home of the Mayor of Cimahi, the Kasih Bunda Hospital and the PT Trisakti Megah Office.

From this search, the team of investigators confiscated a number of documents such as financial records that were suspected of being related to the bribe received by Ajay, as well as documents for applying for permission from the Kasih Bunda Hospital.
