Arrest 12 Suspects, Police Still Hunting For The Main Actor Of The Cambodian TIP To Sell Kidneys

The National Police stated that the joint team of Bareskrim and Polda Metro Jaya are still developing the case of the Cambodian network of Trafficking in Persons (TPPO) who sell kidney organs. Development is carried out to hunt down the main actor in the case.

"Investigators from Polda Metro Jaya together with Bareskrim Polri are still investigating the main perpetrators of selling organs," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Monday, July 24.

In handling this case, the joint team has arrested 12 suspects with different roles. In fact, two of them are police officers with the initials Aipda M and AH as Immigration officers.

For Aipda M, it is said that he received hundreds of money from the syndicate. The money is a wage because it claims to be able to condition so that the handling of the case is not processed.

In addition, from a series of examination processes, Aipda M was also involved in the obstruction of the investigation. Because, he ordered the perpetrators to change places so as not to be arrested.

With the involvement of Bhayangkara Koprs elements, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo firmly stated that he would process Aipda criminally.

"We are processing a crime, if that's the case we never hesitate," said Sigit.

According to him, the National Police continues to be committed to taking action against all its members who are involved in criminal acts. The purpose is solely to create a sense of justice for all Indonesian people.

Even that commitment has been shown by revealing the role and connection. In addition, the figure of Aipda M has been displayed during a press conference at Polda Metro Jaya.

"Oknum Polri yang saat itu diminta bantuan oleh sindikat untuk minta perlindungan dengan harapan kasusnya dihentikan. Namun kan semua kita proses, baik sindikatnya maupun oknum Polri sendiri kita proses," kata Sigit.

This network has tricked 122 people. The majority of them work as laborers to security.
