JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported that a shallow tectonic earthquake that rocked the Pacitan region, East Java, Sunday, July 23, occurred due to the subduction activity of the Indo-Australian Plate under the Eurasian Plate.
