BMKG Jakarta Predictions Are Sunny And Cloudy, The Majority Of Other Big Cities In Indonesia Are Raining

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts rain with light to moderate intensity has the potential to flush the majority of major cities in Indonesia except Jakarta.

BMKG forecaster Maria Klaudiana Djiling in a statement quoted in Jakarta, Sunday, said that outgoing longwave radiation (OLR) and mid-demonstration jullion oscillation (MJO) outgoing equatorial activity still affects the increase in rain cloud growth activity in northern Kalimantan.

"Regions for meeting and slowing wind speed or convergence that increase the potential for cloud growth are found in parts of Sumatra, northern Kalimantan, parts of Sulawesi, and parts of eastern Indonesia," said Maria dukitip from ANTARA, Sunday, July 23.

In Sumatra, cities still have the potential for rain. Light rain is predicted to fall in Banda Aceh, Medan, Tanjung Pinang, Pangkal Pinang, Bengkulu, and Bandar Lampung, as well as only Padang which is predicted to experience heavy rain.

Meanwhile, Pekanbaru, Palembang, and Jambi generally have foggy weather with air temperatures ranging from 23 to 33 degrees Celsius.

In Java, light rain also has the potential to flush Serang, Bandung, and Semarang. As for Jakarta, it is predicted that it will be cloudy, and Yogyakarta and Surabaya have the potential to be cloudy with air temperatures ranging from 23 to 33 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, the islands of Bali and Nusa Tenggara are generally cloudy to cloudy skies with air temperatures ranging from 21 to 32 degrees Celsius.

Major cities in Kalimantan are generally cloudy to thick cloudy, except in Tanjung Selor because of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning or lightning.

In Sulawesi, cloudy skies to cloudy skies have the potential to cover Makassar, Gorontalo, Manado, and Kendari areas with air temperatures ranging from 23 to 33 degrees Celsius. The potential for light rain is predicted to occur in Mamuju and be aware of the potential for thunderstorms in Palu.

The entire area of DKI Jakarta is cloudy on Sunday with a maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius. BMKG through its official website in Jakarta, Sunday, detailed that all areas of DKI Jakarta and the Thousand Islands are cloudy in the morning.

Sunny cloudy weather still survives during the day in all areas of DKI Jakarta and the Thousand Islands. Turning at night, all areas are cloudy, except for North Jakarta which is expected to experience light rain.

The air temperature in Jakarta is estimated to be in the minimum range of 25 degrees to 34 degrees Celsius. The humidity level is estimated to be in the range of 50-90 percent.
