Chairman of the PDIP faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Gembong Warsono, said that his party would propose to form a special committee (pansus) to investigate problems in the construction of the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) in the near future.
This proposal will be submitted to the Chairman of the DKI DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, for further discussion at a Deliberative Body meeting related to the purpose of forming a special committee.
"This week we send a letter of proposal from the special committee to the leadership of the council so that we can follow up. Hopefully this can disburse polemics in the community," Gembong told reporters, Monday, July 17.
Referring to Regional Regulation (Perda) Number 1 of 2020 concerning the Order of the DKI Jakarta Provincial DPRD, the special committee is regulated in Article 114 and Article 115.
