Progres Kasus Korupsi Dana Reses Setwan East Lombok Tunggu Hasil Penelitian Kejaksaan

The case of alleged corruption in the recess tax budget at the East Lombok Council Secretariat (Setwan) for the 2019-2020 period was transferred to the research prosecutor.

"So, the progress of handling this case, we have only transferred the case file belonging to suspect Z to the research prosecutor," said Head of the Special Crimes Section of the East Lombok District Attorney (Kejari) Isa Ansyori in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Wednesday, July 12, confiscated by Antara.

Isa said that regarding the development of this case, the East Lombok Kejari investigators were waiting for the results of the prosecutor's research to be released.

"If it is declared P-18 or P-19, it means that there will be improvements, of course we will complete it immediately. If it is declared P-21, we will proceed to stage two of the transfer of suspects and evidence," he said.

In this case, the East Lombok Kejari has named a suspect with the initials Z.

Suspect Z is suspected of having abused his authority by not depositing taxes on the proceeds of cutting the recess funds of board members into the regional treasury.

The nominal amount of taxes that were not deposited into the regional treasury amounted to Rp343 million. The hundreds of millions that emerged from the results of the audit of the East Lombok Inspectorate are now complete evidence of state losses.

Currently, the person concerned is being placed in the Class IIB Selong Prison, East Lombok.

Apart from Z, Isa said investigators had not found any indications of other people's involvement in this case. That means, he said, suspect Z is independently indicated to enjoy the recess tax budget for personal needs.

For his actions, suspect Z was threatened with criminal sanctions under Article 2 paragraph (1) and/or Article 3 and/or Article 8 in conjunction with Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law no. 20 of 2001.
