A Couple Of Drug Dealers In Lhokseumawe Arrested, 8 Kg Of Marijuana Confiscated

BANDA ACEH - The Lhokseumawe Police Narcotics Investigation Unit Opsnal Team arrested three marijuana-type narcotics dealers in Paya Lhok Village, Muara Dua District, Lhokseumawe City, and two of them were husband and wife.

Lhokseumawe Police Chief AKBP Henki Ismanto said the arrests stemmed from reports from people who were suspicious and worried about buying and selling marijuana in the area.

The police immediately conducted an investigation so that they managed to arrest a married couple as perpetrators of narcotics abuse who were suspected of being dealers, with the initials ML (23) and BL (19).

"First, we arrested two perpetrators of narcotics abuse who were husband and wife," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 10.

During the arrest, he continued, the police confiscated a bag containing seven bales of marijuana weighing 8 kilograms, a motorbike, and a cell phone unit.

From the results of the interrogation, said Jeffryandi, the two suspects admitted to getting the illicit goods from RD (43), so the officers immediately moved to arrest RD.

"RD also ordered ML and BL to buy marijuana to FD, which is currently on the wanted list in Beutong Ateuh, Nagan Regency, Raya for IDR 3.7 million. They bought the marijuana for resale," he said.

Currently, the three perpetrators and evidence are secured at the Lhokseumawe Police Station for legal development and processing.
