JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria emphasized that the Chairman of the East Jakarta Gerindra DPC Ali Lubis had received a warning.

Ali Lubis was reprimanded for asking DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan to resign because he was deemed unable to handle COVID-19 in Jakarta.

"DPC Gerindra, Ali Lubis, we have reminded us that criticism is permissible, but delivered internally, giving input may not be necessary to the public. What Anies is doing as Governor regarding the handling of COVID-19 has been extraordinary. Friends can see. the facts and data, how does DKI Jakarta fight the great virus? We still survive and control it", said Deputy Governor Riza Patria, Tuesday, January 26.

Riza explained Anies Baswedan's achievements in handling COVID-19. Among them, the mortality rate is already at the percentage of 1.6%, testing is 13 times the WHO standard and contributing 43.3% of the national testing.

Riza has also conveyed to Anies regarding Ali Lubis' statement. Gerindra ensures that they will continue to support Anies in realizing the progress of Jakarta.
