"Of course the role of information that or we call it social media, TV coverage that tends to make bullying justification so that children see how cool it is that we can bully other people," explained Dede.
Furthermore, the second is because the function of'supervision' is carried out by two parties, namely teachers and parents. According to Dede, currently there is no proper collaboration between teachers and parents in paying attention to children's growth and development.
"We see now that the relationship between parents and teachers is getting less and less due to various factors. It is as if if parents leave their children at school, it will be school's job, even though character education starts from home," said the legislator from the West Java II electoral district.
Dede said that the role of parents and teachers who are not in line can also lead to other negative sides. Like the lack of understanding when children make mistakes and get punishment from school.
"So that in the end the teacher did not dare to do the supervisory function or impose sanctions for fear of being subject to human rights (HAM) or maybe reported to the authorities," explained Dede.
