Police Arrest The Rihana-Rihani Twin

JAKARTA - The Mobile Investigation Sub-Directorate (Resmob) Team of the General Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police has arrested suspects in cell phone reseller fraud (procurement of mobile phones for resale), the twins Rinahana and Rihani in Gading Serpong.

"Rihana and Rihani have just been arrested at M Town Residence Gading Serpong by the Resmob team of the Polda Metro Jaya," said Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Hengki Haryadi as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 4.

However, Hengki has not yet conveyed the chronology of the arrests of the twins, in his statement he only said that the two were currently heading to Polda Metro Jaya.

"Currently on the way to Polda Metro Jaya," said Hengki.

Both of them will be examined intensively by investigators from the Sub-Directorate of Resmob of the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya regarding their fraudulent actions.

Previously, the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of the Polda Metro Jaya included the twins Riana and Rihani on the wanted list (DPO) related to the iPhone smartphone fraud case.

"It has been (published DPO)," said Head of the Sub-Directorate of Crime and Violence (Jatanras) of the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Indrawienny Panjiyoga when contacted in Jakarta, Tuesday (13/6).

Panjiyoga explained that the police continued to trace the whereabouts of the two suspects because they were suspected of hiding from the police.

"We are still investigating the whereabouts of Rinahan and Rihani. They are really hiding," he said.

Panjiyoga also ensured that the two fugitives were still in Indonesia after previously coordinating with the Immigration Office.
