Regarding Ganjar's Vice Presidential Candidate, Hasto PDIP: The Name Has NotLOCKed

The Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto stated that the name of the vice presidential candidate who accompanied Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 presidential election had not yet narrowed down. The search for the right figure is still being carried out.

"Yes, the names (of the vice president, ed) have not narrowed. There are still 10 names," Hasto told reporters at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Senayan, Central Jakarta, Saturday, June 24.

Even so, communication with a number of figures who are predicted to be vice presidential candidates continues. In fact, seven out of 10 figures who have been referred to as Ganjar's companions attended the peak event of Bung Karno Month (BBK).

One of these names is the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD. "He came. Then also communicated with Pak Sandiaga (Sandiaga Uno), the presentation was PPP," he said.

"Furthermore, Mr. Erick Thohir was represented by PAN, Golkar was Mr. Airlangga, and we also saw that from the survey results there was Mr. Ridwan Kamil so that the representatives of the current parties showed the dynamics of the vice president," continued Hasto.

Not only that, Hasto also said that the name of the former TNI Commander General (Ret.) Andika Perkasa could also be taken into account. However, this will still be discussed further.

"He is retired TNI, the doctrine that has been instilled since in Akmil is ready to carry out its duties for the nation and state. But related to the vice president who will accompany Pak Ganjar, there will be a break, deliberation, among political parties, but we also hear the voices of the people," concluded Hasto.
