DKI Provincial Government Summons Owner Of House DP Rp0 Which Is Used As Boarding Houses

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Public Housing and Settlement Area Service (DPRKP) will summon the owner of one of the Rp0 DP House units in Pondok Kelapa which went viral on social media because it was rented for boarding houses.

Acting Head of DKI Jakarta DPRKP Retno Sulistyaningrum said that his party has scheduled a summons to unit owners for clarification regarding the rental next week.

"We have planned to invite the unit owner. The owner will schedule a clarification call on Tuesday at 09.00 WIB at the UPDP (Housing Fund Management Unit) office," said Retno when contacted, Thursday, June 22.

Yesterday, Retno said that his staff had visited the rented Pondok Kelapa Nuansa unit directly. As a result, the unit owner was not at the location. The unit owner is rarely seen in the residence.

"Indeed, when I was found in the field, the unit was empty, there was no one. Whether he was leaving or what, I didn't know if I could get confirmation. But from the neighbor next door, it was said that the house was often empty," explained Retno.

If the Rp0 DP House unit is proven to be rented out, the unit owner will be sanctioned in stages. The first sanction starts from giving a warning letter.

"Surely we will act and we will give warnings and so on if it is proven later. But it can't be immediately (asked to leave the unit) like that. There must be warnings 1, 2, and 3. If we still don't meet our warnings, we will finish the worst," he said.

The video shows the condition of the Rp0 DP house unit of the Samawa type 1 bedroom tower starting from the living room, kitchen, bathroom, balcony, to the bedroom.

The unit owner also offers boarding house rentals with various available facilities, ranging from refrigerators, kitchen sets, to views of the Pondok Kelapa area, East Jakarta from the top of the building.

However, this video keeps the address of the unit rented a secret. The video only includes a statement "recommendation for cheap apartment rentals in East Jakarta" with free environmental management fees (IPL).

As is known, the house of DP Rp. 0 located in Pondok Kelapa, East Jakarta was inaugurated by former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan in August 2019.

Candidates for homeownership of IDR 0 need to meet a number of administrative requirements before they can inhabit it. Among them are DKI Jakarta ID cards, do not yet have a house, have a maximum income of IDR 14.8 million, to meet credit requirements from banks.

The DKI Provincial Government strictly prohibits owners from trading Rp0 DP housing units. Then, there are sanctions for those who violate these rules, namely the revocation of credit subsidies and are asked to leave their homes.
