JAKARTA - A number of traders of sacrificial animals complained about the large number of rents for stalls selling sacrificial animals on the land of the Kemayoran Complex Management Center (PPKK) on Jalan Angkasa, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

"We are here to pay Rp. 17 million for one stall. Not only that, one cow that is sold we have to deposit in the amount of Rp. 1.2 to Rp. 1.5 million," said AM, one of the traders to reporters, Tuesday, June 20.

AM said that the cost of renting and depositing money per animal sold was very burdensome for traders. He did not have a choice with the price issued by the PPKK.

"We deposit the money to the coordinator here, later he will pay the money to the PPKK," he said.

AM explained that the money deposited in the amount of Rp. 17 million was an obligation to be paid. However, the deposit of money per animal is only given if the animal is sold.

"The money that was paid was used for water and eating animals as well as lighting and cleanliness," he said.
