Reports In Bareskrim Revoked, Legal Expert: Investigation And Investigation Of PT BEP Must Stop

JAKARTA - Professor of Law and Director of the Solutions and Advocacy Institute Suparji Ahmad asked the police to stop investigations and investigations of PT Batuah Energi Prima (BEP).

Eko has withdrawn his report regarding the Amendment to the Articles of Association (AD) of PT BEP at the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) of the National Police Headquarters on November 11, 2022. The letter of revocation of the Police Report numbered: LP/B/0754/XII/2021/SPKT/Bareskrim Polri.

Following up on efforts to revoke the Police Report, Eko Juni Anto also made a peace agreement with Erwin Rahardjo during a trial at the Central Jakarta District Court (PN) on Monday, February 27, 2023.

According to Suparji, the peace agreement at the Central Jakarta District Court trial was legally legal because it was in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.

"As a solution to the case faced by PT Batuah Energi Prima, for the sake of justice, legal certainty and economic benefits, the examination of the management of PT Batuah Energi Prima should be stopped immediately by issuing an Investigation Termination Order (SP3) from the Criminal Investigation Agency of the National Police Headquarters," said Suparji.

Previously, the mining company, which is located in Batuah Village, Loa Janan District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan (Kaltim), had cut off employment (PHK) for hundreds of employees.

This is the impact of the police report on the alleged forgery of company deed at PT BEP which was made by Eko Juni Anto when the company was declared bankrupt.

The Surabaya Commercial Court (PN) finally decided to end PT Batuah Energi Prima (BEP) by Decision number 28/Pdt.SUS-PKPU/2018/PN.Niaga.Sby dated December 2, 2021.

Eko Juni Anto as the reporter has also chosen to make peace with the reported party so that he withdrew his report and asked the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police Headquarters to stop the investigation (SP3) of the PT BEP case.
