Kejaksaan Kembali Sita Uang Rp530 Juta Terkait Kasus Korupsi PT RS Arun Lhokseumawe

BANDA ACEH - Lhokseumawe District Attorney's investigators, Aceh, again confiscated Rp530 million in funds for the alleged corruption case at PT Arun Lhokseumawe Hospital.

The Head of the Lhokseumawe District Attorney's Office, Lalu Syaifudi, accompanied by Head of Intelligence Therry Gutama, said that the refund of state money in the corruption case of PT Arun Lhokseumawe Hospital was carried out by one of the housing development business actors.

"The money returned came from the payment of the purchase of the house by the suspect Hariadi, former Director of PT RS Arun Lhokseumawe for the period 2016 to 2023," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, June 14.

With the refund, the Lhokseumawe Kejari investigators have saved state money amounting to Rp9.2 billion, from the total state losses in the alleged corruption case of PT RS Lhokseumawe which reached Rp44.9 billion.

In addition to saving state money, investigators have also confiscated assets belonging to suspect Hariadi, namely three documents or certificates of land and home property rights, one Honda Civic car, one Honda CBR 250 RR motorcycle, and one Yamaha WR 155 R motorcycle.

He also asked anyone who felt that they had received the flow of corruption funds from PT RS Arun Lhokseumawe to immediately return the money to the prosecutor's office.

"If not, the prosecutor's team of investigators will have their own way of tracing the funds," he said.

Previously, Lhokseumawe Kejari investigators had named two main suspects in the alleged corruption case of PT Arun Lhokseumawe Hospital with state losses reaching Rp44.9 billion.

The two suspects were respectively the President Director of PT RS Arun Lhokseumawe Hariadi and former Mayor of Lhokseumawe Suaidi Yahya.

Currently, suspect Hariadi is being held at the Class II B Lhoksukon Prison, while suspect Suaidi Yahya is being held at the Class II A Lhokseumawe Prison with the status of a prosecutor's detainee.
