Kejari Investigate Deviations In Artesis Well Development Project In Palu

PALU - The Palu District Attorney's Office (Kejari) is investigating allegations of irregularities in the archesis well construction project and a clean water supply system in Tondo Village, Palu City, Central Sulawesi, in 2019. "There are allegations of discrepancies in the specifications of the project, and eight people have been questioned in the investigation process," said Head of the Palu Kejari Kejari I Nyoman Purya in Palu, quoted from Antara, Thursday, June 8. Eight people who were questioned were officials from the Central Sulawesi Provincial Settlement Infrastructure Center, namely AH, a commitment maker (PPK) official, AM, the head of the work unit. He said, based on the results of an Intelligence Investigation in 2019, the Central Sulawesi Settlement Infrastructure Center had allocated funds for a project to build a clean water supply system in Tondo Village with a contract value of Rp. 6.9 billion. The results of requests for information and data collection show an overpayment of Rp1.7 billion and a lack of work volume. "CV Tirta Hutama Makmur is involved in the implementation of the project," he said. According to Nyoman, there are allegations against the provisions in the Attachment of the Government Procurement Policy Institute Regulation Number 9 of 2018 concerning guidelines for implementing procurement/services through providers, namely regarding payments that exceed the progress of the work results achieved and payments for work that has not been installed. "The results of the investigation from the Palu Kejari Intelligence have been transferred to the Special Crimes Division of the Palu Kejari for further processing," he said. He stated that the Palu Kejari would then carry out the legal process by involving the Special Crimes Sector to process these violations based on the results of the investigation that had been carried out.

"It is possible that this week the process will be raised to the next stage," he said.
