Kadaker: Indonesian Calhaj Dies In Medina Increases To 5 People

MADINAH - Head of Madinah Working Area (Kadaker) Zainal Muttaqin stated that the number of Indonesian Hajj candidates (calhaj) who died in Medina, Saudi Arabia has increased again and this time the candidate from the JKS 7 Cluster named Aminah Uyu Sunarta (64), who died after being rushed to the Indonesian Hajj Health Clinic (KKHI).

"Until today, we have received information that five people have died. Last night the congregation from JKS 7 Mrs. Aminah," said Kadaker Madinah Zainal Muttaqin as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 31.

He explained that Aminah died due to respiratory problems and died at the Indonesian Hajj Health Clinic Medina

"Based on information from the doctor who treated him, he died of respiratory problems. We pray that he will be husnul khotimah and the family left patient and get the kindness of what the deceased did," he said.

It is planned that the body will be buried in Baqi, which is in the Nabawi Mosque complex, because the Indonesian government always strives for Indonesian pilgrims, both men and women who died in Medina, to be buried in Baqi.

"Yes, the plan is to be buried in Baqi. We will confirm with the Indonesian Consulate General regarding Mrs. Aminah. We always coordinate with the muassasah and the manager of the Prophet's Mosque or the idroh of the funeral office around the Prophet's Mosque. Currently all four (died, red.) have been buried in Baqi," he said.

He hopes that all Indonesian Hajj candidates will be in good health, so that they can carry out the pilgrimage until it is finished.

"We hope that other pilgrims are in good health and can still carry out the pilgrimage," said Zaenal Muttaqin.

The same thing was conveyed by the Head of Health Liaison Service Daker Medina, Dr. Desnita, who said Aminah died of respiratory problems.

"It's 64 years old, the cause of the respiratory disease or pneumonia in King Fahd. The infection is not an ordinary breathing, yes, this is in the lungs," he said.

Previously, four Indonesian Hajj candidates died in Medina, namely Suprapto Tarlim Kerto Wijoyo, who was a member of the three-Embarkation Solo (SOC) 03 flight group, died on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.

Suprapto arrived at Muhammad Bin Abdul Aziz International Airport (AMAA) Medina at 20.40 Saudi Arabia time (WAS), but not a day away from Medina, Suprapto, who had stayed at the Abraj Taba Company Hotel, Medina, breathed his breath at 04.00 WAS due to a heart attack.

Then, Achmad Suhandak Riduwan (53) who was a member of flight group (Kloter) 9 Surabaya Embarkation (SUB-09) died shortly after arriving at Amir Muhammad Bin Abdul Aziz International Airport (AMMA), Medina on Saturday, May 27, 2023.

This man from Gresik, East Java had received medical treatment at the Airport Clinic, but when he was referred to the Saudi Arabian Hospital (RSAS) the late breathed his last. Achmad Suhandak Riduwan's body was buried in Baqi.

Lengen Delem Dussalam, a candidate for Hajj for the Surabaya embarkation (SUB) 001, a resident of Bangkalan, Madura, died at KKHI Medina. The results of his diagnosis died from septic shock, namely an infection in the body.

Next, Hajj candidate Ibnu Sahid Bin Dasir who also died at KKHI Madinah with a diagnosis of death due to suffering from heart disease.
