The police confiscated tens of thousands of sachets of illegal drugs suspected of being dangerous which are ready to be circulated in Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra (Sumsel). A total of 70,830 methamphetamine were confiscated.
Deputy Director of Special Criminal Investigation of the South Sumatra Regional Police AKBP Putu Yudha Prawira said the tens of thousands of pills of various brands were stored in a house on Jalan Kolonel Wahid Udin, Sekayu, Muba, South Sumatra.
The South Sumatra Police confiscated on Wednesday, May 24 at around 02.00 WIB after carrying out operations to a number of traditional markets in Musi Banyuasin in response to reports from the public regarding the rampant circulation of illegal drugs.
"From the development, it is known that the drugs belonged to a man with the initials AS, as well as the owner of the house where evidence was found. Currently, US suspects are being held at the South Sumatra Regional Police for the next 20 days to complete the case file.
