JAMBI- Ditlantas Jambi Police replaced the operational schedule for coal transportation in the area to overcome congestion caused by coal transportation in the Mendalo and Tempino areas, Muaro Jambi Regency for the last few nights.

It is known that this traffic jam was caused by people in the South Ring just allowing coal transportation to pass above 9 pm.

Dirlantas Polda Jambi Kombes Dhafi said this caused the vehicle to pile up. Not to mention, coal transportation in Batanghari has moved to the Muaro Jambi area from 18.00 WIB.

"Therefore, we have changed the pattern of coal transportation management, transportation from Sarolangun can only move at 19.00 WIB, for the Batanghari area at 20.00 WIB, including for parking bags," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, May 21.

For coal vehicles in Muaro Jambi, they are only allowed to move starting at 21.00 WIB.

For this reason, Dhafi requested that transportation companies inform coal transport drivers about the new regulation.

Furthermore, if this is not implemented and there is still traffic jams, then we will stop the operation of coal transportation, this is to respond to complaints from the public and to avoid possible conflicts.

If the coal transport drivers are still moving at 18.00 WIB, the operation of coal transportation will be stopped from Tuesday or next Wednesday.

"I hope this information can be conveyed to coal transportation drivers, so that it can be implemented," he said.
