Defense Minister Prabowo Shares 153 Babinsa Operational Trail Motors In Pacitan

Defense Minister Prabowo Subiakto distributed 153 units of motortrains for the operation of Babinsa soldiers and hundreds of food packages for pre-sesejahtera residents during a visit to Pacitan Regency, East Java.

The division ceremony was held at the Pacitan City Koramil office.

Prabowo, who came wearing a bright cream colored suit complete with a field hat, received a warm welcome from Pacitan residents.

Likewise with the Babinsa who looked happy when they received the motortrainoperative from the former Danjen Kopassus.

"I was here assigned by Mr. President Jokowi to check the readiness of the TNI, and I chose to check the spearhead. The spearhead is the babinsa and Koramil," Prabowo said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, May 20.

This is mainly related to the role of village development officer (babinsa).

"I chose to check our spearhead. Our spearheads are babinsa and Koramil," he said.

The Minister of Defense also revealed the defense system adopted by Indonesia, namely the universal people's defense system. This system is the basis for the unity of the TNI and the people is needed.

In order to strengthen Indonesia's defense, Prabowo continued, as the Minister of Defense continues to strengthen territorial command. This is the backbone of defense.

He was grateful for the hard work of the entire TNI.

"Thank you. I checked the enthusiasm of the babinsa is good. This is so that it can be maintained. The Koramil is also quite good. Thank you, Mr. Regent, there must be support from the regional government and the National Police," said Prabowo accompanied by KasdamV/Brawijaya Brigadier General Niko Fahrizal.

Not only that, other assistance provided in the form of special basic necessities is intended for underprivileged residents.

The next series of activities are visits to the SBY-Ani Museum and Art Gallery. In the building located on Jalan Raya Lintas Selatan, Prabowo is scheduled to meet SBY.

Prabowo arrived at the museum complex at 10.00 WIB. The event was closed.

After handing over the Babinsa operational trail motorbike and distributing hundreds of food packages, Defense Minister Prabowo continued his series of working visits to stay in touch with the ranks of the TNI/Polri, veteran assemblies, FKPPI, and stopped at the SBY-Ani museum and Art Gallery.

At the museum that resembles the White House in the United States, Prabowo met and spoke with his senior who is also the 6th president of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
