JAMBI - Five prospective pilgrims from Jambi Province are confirmed to have canceled their departure. In fact, they have paid the cost of the pilgrimage (Bipih).

The Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) of Jambi Province revealed that this cancellation was due to health reasons.

Public Relations of the Jambi Provincial Ministry, Paspihani, explained that the five prospective hajj candidates came from Bungo Regency, one person Batanghari and three people from Sarolangun Regency. God willing, next year the five prospective hajj candidates can go to perform their pilgrimage.

Meanwhile, the Jambi City Health Office (Dinkes) ensured that it would carry out vaccinations for prospective hajj pilgrims from the area this week.

Head of the Jambi City Health Office, Ida Yuliati, said that vaccination was divided into three stages in accordance with the Hajj Guidance Group (KBIH).

On the first day, vaccination will be given to 256 people from two KBIHs. Furthermore, on the second day there were 210 people from two KBIHs and on the third day there were 110 people from two KBIHs. In total, there are 636 people consisting of 576 regular Hajj candidates and 60 reserve Hajj candidates.
