Lampung Provincial Government Repairs Collapsed Way Komering Bridge

BANDAR LAMPUNG - Lampung Provincial Government (Pemprov) made an emergency repair of the Way Komering Bridge in Central Lampung Regency which collapsed some time ago.

"For the Way Komering Bridge on the Padang Ratu-Gunung Sugih Provincial Road, Central Lampung Regency, which collapsed some time ago, is in the process of being repaired," said Head of the Lampung Province Development and Development Office, Febrizal Levi Sukmana, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 17.

He said the handling of the bridge that had been carried out since a week ago was an emergency treatment first, in response to disaster emergencies for cliff strengthening.

"The bridge has been handled, currently the important emergency handling has not been broken first and can be passed by the community. Because due to floods, the road collapsed on the bridge of the bridge and 70 percent remained," said Febrizal.

His party will also normalize rivers, repair and strengthen river cliffs, then repair and improve the bridge's damage structure.

"With this, large trucks and cars are prohibited from passing and temporarily diverted, if small cars and motorbikes are still allowed," said Febrizal.

Furthermore, his party will improve the bridge structure and carry out rehabilitation.

"It remains only then that we will budget again to strengthen the Revised APBD, and for more stable strengthening it will be carried out in 2024," he added.
