BEKASI - Starting from the news that he had joined PPP, Sandiaga Uno had not actually made a political decision regarding the 2024 election. Later, Sandiaga, who chose to leave Gerindra, was linked to PKS as a new support.

Sandiaga responded to an issue that said he had joined the United Development Party (PPP) by stating that he would meet with the Acting Chairperson of the PPP DPP Muhamad Mardiono in the near future.

This was conveyed by the man who served as Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) after providing Santri Go Digital training at Nurul Huda Islamic Boarding School, Setu District, Bekasi Regency, West Java, Sunday, May 14.

"My visit to PPP is to reunite thought and understanding, especially regarding the political concept of amar ma'ruf nahi munkar which I carry," he said as quoted by ANTARA.

He explained that the concept includes economic recovery, the creation of business opportunities and employment opportunities, as well as accelerating development in accordance with the direction of the previous government.

"According to the direction of Mr. Ketum that I will follow the stages or processes, where I convey the talks and thoughts in the concept of amar ma'ruf nahi any munkar politics, such as business opportunities and creating jobs, readiness in terms of maintaining economic stability, and accelerating development," he said.

"And of course we will improve the stage process and we will submit it for the consideration of the Acting Chairman and of course if we always show the match, because every activity, especially in Islamic boarding schools, ulama and PPP friends are always with us," he said.

Sandiaga admitted that he was not in a hurry to make decisions, according to the direction of the Acting Chairperson (Plt) of PPP Mardiono, while establishing communication and friendship with a number of political figures to move together.

"We do some messages and advice (Mardiono) not in a hurry, not in a hurry, but through stages and inviting more to join together in thinking about accelerating our development with the Islamic concept, rahmatan lil alamin," he said.

At the same time, the spokesman for the Central Executive Board of PPP, Usman M Tokan, said the same thing. He stated that the former Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta is now exploring a number of processes and stages.

According to him, the decision to drop the heart and join PPP does not need to be done in a hurry.

"As we all know that previously there had been a long discussion about how Pak Sandi joined PPP. Of course, as Mr. Sandi said, that there were stages and processes that we did not need to hunt," said Usman.

"Today Mr. Sandi visited Islamic boarding schools and political parties as part of the gathering. In the context of his position as Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, he conveyed related to joint development with Mr. President Jokowi," he added.

PPP itself today together with President Jokowi's coalition. His party welcomed Sandiaga Uno's steps to stay in touch with various parties and in due course, PPP will also take steps.

Asked about the determination of the PDIP-PPP coalition vice presidential candidate as a companion to Ganjar Pranowo, his party admitted that they were communicating to find the person in question.

"We are building communication, looking for a companion figure and hope that Pak Sandi will be a part of the communication process with the PDI. We are just trying, we leave it to Allah SWT, I always say that it is fate, when Mr. Sandi later joins PPP it is fate, because in politics, efforts are needed," he said. (KR-PRA).
