JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono said that the academic draft law on the specificity of Jakarta will be brought to the DKI DPRD no later than this weekend. Later, this input from the public will be summarized in the content of the academic paper for the revision of Law (UU) Number 29 of 2007 concerning the Provincial Government of the Special Capital City of Jakarta as the Capital City of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. After being compiled, this academic paper will later be deposited with the central government to be discussed with the DPR RI into law. "We will accommodate the aspirations that the community wants so that this law will later determine Jakarta in the future. The guide is Jakarta to become a global city. The 12 special powers are related to public work and spatial planning, public housing and residential areas, culture, investment, transportation, the environment, population control and family planning, industry, tourism, trade, education, and health.
