Regent Requires ASN In Cianjur To Donate Blood Once Every 2 Months

The Regent of Cianjur Regency asked all state civil servants (ASN) within the local district government to be required to donate blood every two months as an effort to meet the blood needs of the region as many as 1,800 labs per month.

"We require all ASN in the Cianjur Regency Government, which number up to 18 thousand people to help meet the blood needs in Cianjur, in addition to blood donors, they are healthy and our blood is always young, including immersive activities," he said in Cianjur, West Java (West Java), Thursday, May 11, confiscated by Antara.

He explained, with the existence of a blood donation family formed by the Cianjur PMI Blood Transfusion Unit (UTD), it is an example for ASN and the general public to make blood donation a necessity to help others in need.

Especially for ASN, he said, when they want to be promoted or get certification, including promotion, they are required to have become donors, at least five times they have donated their blood, so that lack of blood stock no longer occurs.

"Promotion of positions, certification and promotion for teachers will be a priority when they become permanent donors. I have emphasized to the Head of Regional Personnel and Secretary of the Cianjur Education Office, to convey this request," he said.

Head of UTD PMI Cianjur, Dr. Susilawati, said that so far the need for blood in five hospitals and three clinics in Cianjur, requires 1,800 blood clots every month, to meet these needs, his party does various ways, including picking up the ball out of town.

"We mostly do'mobile' units to donor groups outside Cianjur because of the low concern of residents, including ASN in the district government, to carry out routine blood donations. The high level of awareness is in several sub-districts in Cianjur," he said.

Along with the statement of the Cianjur Regent, requiring ASN to donate blood every two months, he added, his party will conduct socialization in the hope that the Cianjur PMI UTD can meet the daily blood needs of Cianjur, especially in the Cianjur Regency Government.

"If 10 percent of the total ASN in Cianjur donates their blood regularly every month, it can cover the need for blood for hospitals and clinics as much as 1,800 blood clots, hopefully the regent's request can be followed up by each service head," he said.
