LABUAN BAJO - Head of the Tourism and Creative Economy Office of NTT Province Sony Libing said the ASEAN Summit delegates were scheduled to visit several tourist attractions in Labuan Bajo, starting from Komodo Island, Rinca Island, sailing by pinisi ship to Batu Cermin.

Sony said there were several tourist destinations that had been prepared for the visit of the ASEAN Summit delegates such as Komodo Island, Manta Point and Kalong Island.

For tourist destinations that are located on the mainland or do not need to cross the island, delegates can visit Batu Cermin Cave, Rangko Cave, Waterfront, and Puncak Waringin.

The ASEAN Summit will take place in two places, namely the Meruorah Hotel and the Ayana Hotel. President Joko Widodo is scheduled to travel with the delegates on the pinisi boat while enjoying coffee.

According to Sony, each country has its own itinerary. The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy only provides recommendations and facilitates visiting groups.

Sony said that the NTT Tourism and Creative Economy Office had made various preparations, starting from infrastructure, availability of drinking water, electricity, toilets to internet networks at tourist sites.
