SOLO - Surakarta City Government, Central Java, embraced foreign consultants to re-propose Solo as Creative City Network (CCN). We rented it as a consultant," said Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka in Solo, Antara, Thursday, May 4. He said the Creative City Network proposal would be submitted this year. This effort was made by Solo after failing to achieve it twice. In fact, he admitted, Sandiaga Uno gave support regarding the submission of the proposal. "We will submit the proposal to Paris this month," he said. Meanwhile, he said, the preparation of proposals had been carried out before Lebaran. He said that if the proposal submission this time was successful, Solo would be able to hold an international event. "Later, when Solo has entered Creative City Network, it will be easy to hold international events," he said. Regarding the implementation of creative events, he said, Solo has many international agendas, one of which is Solo Dance which was recently included as part of Kharisma Event Nusantara by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy.
