Danny Pomanto said the use of traditional clothes in each school was a cultural commitment of the Makassar City Government which was also included in the 18 education revolutions.
He has also set a Cultural Day to be celebrated every April 1, while on that day, all State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the Makassar City Government and Laskar Pelangi (P3K) personnel are required to wear traditional clothing.
"Cultural Day in Makassar is always celebrated on April 1 and all city government employees, Laskar Pelangi and BUMD employees, must wear traditional clothes. Well, we also want to be at the school every 1st wearing traditional clothes," he said.
