Firefighters Visit DKI DPRD, Apparently Received Fake Fire Reports

JAKARTA - Head of the Fire Team for the Central Jakarta Mayor's Office, Endang Komara, said that his party received a false report regarding a fire on the 2nd floor of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

"It turns out that maybe this is a fake report, there isn't any. From CCTV, the security forces also didn't see smoke, there wasn't anything. It's probably a fake report," said Endang in the area of ​​the DKI DPRD building as reported by ANTARA, Friday, April 28.

Endang revealed that his party received a report from Rudi Hartono stating that there was a fire on the 2nd floor of the DPRD DKI building.

"There was a caller to our office on behalf of Mr. Rudi Hartono. He said he said there was a fire on the 2nd floor of the DPRD," said Endang.

Endang explained that the reporter reported the fire incident at around 19.30 WIB. After that, the Central Jakarta Mayor's Office Fire Team went straight to the DPRD DKI building and examined the CCTV camera footage and the building.

"About 15 minutes ago, half past eight. He said there was a plume of smoke at the DPRD office. So because we directly monitored we came here. After we coordinated here with the security forces, there was no spark. There was no fire, nothing. So this report from Mr. Rudi Hartono is nil," explained Endang.
